This letter is from your Board of Directors.

We are pleased to inform you that as of November 1, 2022, Shore to Slope Management Services Inc. of Collingwood, Ontario, assumes day-to-day management, operations, and duties for Craigleith Shores and GCC #12.

Why we made a change

After several meetings, the Board unanimously decided to change property management and seek a local company better suited to current needs. Mareka Property Management received 60 days’ notice of termination at the beginning of September.

The Board shortlisted three firms using criteria including local presence, response time, experience, company size, personnel depth, regular site visits, pool and maintenance knowledge, and strong referrals. After interviews, Shore to Slope was selected unanimously.

Meet your property manager

Gary Kennedy, owner of Shore to Slope, will personally serve as property manager — an important factor in the Board’s decision. Gary is already working with the Board and his team to transition records, review vendor contracts and rules, plan an official site visit, and address urgent issues.

What happens next

The Board plans a meet-and-greet and information session later in the fall with Gary and Board members. Owners will be able to introduce themselves, ask questions, and learn about upcoming initiatives.
